Lyrics:
The hate that I feel, it’s real.
I see an empty soul staring back at me. A lack of sympathy for everyone around me.
I tried so hard to make things right, it’s an endless fight tearing me down.
I could never shed new light, I let it sink in just in spite, like venom running through your veins.
My mind’s been infected with grief, with misery. The pain’s inflicted me…
The hate that I feel, it’s real.
I see an empty soul staring back at me. A lack of sympathy for everyone around me.
I tried so hard to make things right, but I could never shed new light, I let it sink in just in spite.
Taking the same steps back to the source. Never knew how to change the sail’s, never knew how to change course.
You and me, how did I ever think it was going to be? What it did too me… I want you all to see!
That your life’s in the hands of another. I felt it coming for so long, but I never thought I’d be so wrong.
My discomposure it speaks… It shouts so loud. I’m sorry.
My mind’s been infected, with grief, with misery. The pain’s inflicted me, It sit’s with me.
You got it so wrong and now you’re sitting in the corner all alone. It’s your fault. (You knew it)
It was me all along? I know you just wanted me gone! That was always your song.
Know yourself, not your wealth, because everyone seems to see it, but me.
We let it slip away, and I’m filled with dismay today.
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
If/when the apocalypse ever occurs, The Black Queen's Fever Daydream will be its official soundtrack and manifesto. And, I'm living for it as we dance ourselves into oblivion. DAS VILLAIN

A lot of good memories associated with this EP. Being an awkward teen and getting my CD signed. All four songs are amazing, but then again this is Moon Tooth we're talking about. Amazing is all that they do 9RnK7
